Isaac and Ariana’s proposal and engagement session at All Who Wander Flower Farm was incredibly sweet! It was my first time photographing at this flower farm, and I’m already hoping to be back soon — it’s the perfect location for couple sessions, proposals, and family photography near Hamilton.
All Who Wander Flower Farm: The Perfect Proposal Location
The property has so much variety for photos — from an apple orchard and rose garden to endless rows of flowers, a windowed greenhouse-style building, and even a swing framed by an arch. Everywhere you turn, there’s a new backdrop that makes for dreamy, natural photos.
Harsh Sunlight Doesn’t Scare Wedding Photographers
When Isaac reached out he mentioned he specifically wanted a wedding photographer to capture the moment. This is because he’d heard that wedding photographers are used to working in all kinds of lighting — including the harsh midday sun he was planning for. He was completely right! Wedding photographers are some of the most experienced when it comes to working in unpredictable lighting conditions. After all, we often photograph full wedding days where you can’t just “move the ceremony” to chase better light.
Lately, I’ve actually started to love working in direct sunlight. It creates a bold, creative energy that soft light doesn’t always offer.
The Sweetest Proposal Setup
When I arrived, Isaac and Ariana’s family were setting up the most beautiful proposal scene. It was a carefully arranged, Pinterest-worthy setup complete with flowers and iced coffee. Isaac led Ariana through the flower rows to the spot, where he got down on one knee, and her reaction was pure joy!! Afterwards, we wandered around the gardens for their engagement photos, capturing all their giggles, smiles, and sweet in-between moments.
I delivered their gallery within the week and I was so honoured to have captured such a meaningful day.
